I began the day by doing some more silhouettes of bugs that already existed, this included beetle’s, fly, coach roaches and some legs id separately created silhouettes for. Later i had a workshop with Nigel this was when i realised that i had missed the mark with my silhouettes as he instantly, was able to tell me they were good just not what he was after. He was after bugs/insects that didn't already exist and wanted us to focus less on the silhouettes looking like perfect outlines of insects. Yet to use large textured brushes to create black blobs which we then interpret in the hope of creating something new. We were also showed a program, which i was new too, alchemy which just speed this process up ten fold creating shapes for us to interpret.
